3D MODELING EXPERIECE

3D MODELING EXPERIENCE

A collection of 3D models created to explore layout, materials, custom furniture, and how spaces are meant to be lived in — before anything is built.

MOUNTAIN VIEW RESIDENTS

For this kitchen and dining room remodel, I created a full 3D SketchUp model to help the client clearly visualize the space before construction began. The model was built to scale and includes cabinetry layouts, appliance placement, ceiling details, lighting, finishes, and circulation through the room.

By modeling the kitchen in 3D, the client was able to understand proportions, sightlines, and how the kitchen connects to the breakfast area beyond. This process helped us refine cabinet details, confirm clearances, and test the overall balance of the space early on — long before materials were ordered or work started on site.

The goal of this model was not just to “look nice,” but to act as a design decision-making tool that brings clarity, confidence, and alignment between the client, designer, and builder.

PIEDMONT HILLS RESIDENTS

I use SketchUp to help clients clearly see their space before anything is built or ordered. By modeling each project to scale, I explore layout, materials, furniture, and key details so decisions feel confident and intentional.

From custom cabinetry and tile layouts to lighting and custom furniture, 3D modeling allows us to test how everything works together — including circulation, comfort, and views. I pair these models with renderings to bring light, texture, and atmosphere to life.

The result is clarity, smoother decision-making, and a design process clients can trust.

SONOMA HILLS RESIDENTS

For this bathroom remodel, I used SketchUp to develop a complete 3D design that integrates layout planning, plumbing locations, fixture selection, and tile design into one clear visual model.

By building the space to scale, the client was able to see how the shower, vanity, toilet, and circulation worked together as a whole — not just as individual selections. This approach helped us confirm clearances, align plumbing accurately, and coordinate finishes before moving into construction.

The model allowed us to test tile patterns, plumbing placement, and fixture proportions early in the process, reducing guesswork and helping the client feel confident in each decision.
