Something you need to Know about Tea || Healthy
I remember the first time I want my own tea set because I wanted tea in my own office. To me, it felt like I grown up and was able to be a lady having tea. In America, I know not all of you have never tried Chinese tea before, but have you tried bubble milk tea. They are quite delicious, aren't they? But you know, without the milk and the sugar, that's real tea, my friend.
This here is Longjing (Dragon Well)Tea, it a green tea with a very smooth taste in it. When I first tried it out, it was refreshing! My God! I never knew there is this kind of taste in tea. For all my life, I thought tea was bitter and hot. Although wasn't wrong with the hot part. Longjing is a tea that is supposed to calm and relax your mind, while still keeping you awake. With elderly, it can help to lower blood sugar and cholesterol levels. Also, it can boost the immune system, helping your body by removing toxins and excess fats and sugar from the blood.
HOW TO MAKE TEA?
- Have a clean teapot ready, preferably with a filter, if not a strain would do the job!
- Boiled water to 167- 176 F degree (75 -80 C).
- Put the leaves into the teapot, a teaspoon is a good start, but once you get a hang of it you know your amount. Also, if you got a bigger teapot, like a Victorian Era one please feel free to add another teaspoon.
- Pour the water gently around the pot, and let it sit for a 1 to 2 minute. This way the leaves can fall and absorb the water while letting out the good taste.
- Pour the tea out thru the filter or strain, so the leaves stay inside the pot.
- Remember to drink the tea while it’s hot ( not to the point where it can burn you).
